From Pacwest Bigfoot to Where Bigfoot Roams — it’s been quite a journey. Most days were great, while a few were a bit lackluster. In this first post, I’d like to share with you, ever so briefly, how it all started — and where it’s headed…
Tracks and Screams
I was thirteen and my family had moved from the small, but well-known town of Ashland to a small home on two acres between the City of Rogue River and Wimer. One Christmas, we decided to head out to a place called Elderberry Flats to find that perfect tree. We found an old logging road with a large turnabout at the foot of the mountains and started our search.
My mother and I headed up the road about a hundred yards, give or take. I was looking for trees when I noticed she was looking at her shoes. I asked her what she was doing when she pointed at tracks in the snow that led out of the woods, down the side of the old road, and down to the creek. It had to be at least a hundred or so yards of tracks.
I came over to look at them. To my surprise, they looked like bare human footprints, only much larger, wider. The stride was so long I had to do the splits to get from one to the other. We followed them to the creek, and that is when my mom freaked out as she looked back up into the woods where they had disappeared.
This was not her first experience.
Earlier, about five years before this incident, we were camping at Hyatt Lake when, in the middle of the night, from the direction of Little Hyatt Lake, came shrill, high-pitched screaming. She was not the only one to hear it. I heard the last couple of screams, but the next morning, the conversations with other campers were all about the night before.
I believe the tracks were those of a Bigfoot, and the screams too. So does my mom to this day.
Pacwest Bigfoot.
Time passed, decades. One day, I decided to write out a short story about that day. I love writing short stories, always have. Well, people loved it! Soon, I had a ton of people with, yes, mostly anecdotal experiences and incidents, writing and messaging me about theirs. I asked to create stories around them, and they said yes, so I did.
Pacwest Bigfoot was born.
The community, the fans of the interviews and stories, was enormous. However, there came a few, as I stated above, lackluster moments. It did not come from the fans, the followers, and subscribers to the channel, or you. It came from a few folks who, in the Bigfoot world, claim to know it all and have cornered the market on all things Bigfoot. A few nasty and untrue things were said, and I was sad, not mad, just sad.
Of course, a couple of them apologized quickly, and grace and forgiveness were given. I even made good friends afterward with one of them. One never apologized, and I was okay with that. But, still, it hurt deeply, so much so, I questioned what I was doing. That was the end of Pacwest Bigfoot.
But, in the end, I miss it, and I miss you…
Where Bigfoot Roams.
Well, all I have to say to all that history and the few who didn’t like it is, “I’m over it.” I am moving on!
Yes, there will be eyewitness interviews; they are already lining up!
Yes, your favorite short stories based on true experiences and incidents written and told are coming!
Yes, I will be adding to all this a journal, too! (Full of opinions and my research)
Yes, I will be sharing with you my favorite places and channels for all things Bigfoot, plus where I get my Sasquatch Coffee!
And, yes, I will be adding in some additional content that has some Bigfoot flavour to it as well!
I am ready and settled in to bring you some of the best interviews and stories of all things Bigfoot for your entertainment and growth in knowledge of the subject. My main goal here is to share through these gifts I’ve been given by God, everything Bigfoot and beyond.
Please feel free to comment on the site, ask a question, or just say hello; I check them and respond frequently.
My goal is to learn, share, and have some fun. This is all for you in the end, but it is also for me. I have to write, I have to create, I have to know more about this subject, because I love everything Bigfoot…
With that, God bless, and talk soon,
David.

The perfect way to say it. And I’m so happy you’re back.
Thanks, my friend!
Happy your back – always loved your stories – or rather, other peoples experiences and the way you made them into a story. Enjoyed your voice and yes, even you coffee sipping LOL! Always wondered what happened to PacWest BF – It was one of the first BF story sites I started to listen to many years ago –
I will explain all about PWB next week! =) Thank you for being here David! Have you ever seen or experienced anything Bigfoot?
